B. Arch + M. Arch, Tulane University
Joined studioWTA April, 2021

Originally from New York City, Anabelle’s interest in architecture began at a young age growing up with parents that are both designers. Spending her childhood in Manhattan’s Garment District, Anabelle became interested in the relationship between community and space. Splitting her time between NYC and summers in the south, she was drawn to the intimacy of smaller communities ultimately finding the sweet spot that was New Orleans and Tulane University. Anabelle’s thesis at Tulane explored the capabilities of skyscrapers to maintain the spatial and programmatic qualities of Manhattan’s historic districts. During her time at Tulane, Anabelle gained a fierce love for New Orleans and the city’s innate appreciation for architecture and design–both historic and contemporary. Anabelle graduated from Tulane in 2020, receiving her Bachelors of Architecture and Master of Architecture.

Professionally, Anabelle has developed an interest in the integration of modern design into the intricate urban fabric while protecting the historic architecture of New Orleans. In 2021 Anabelle joined studioWTA, working on a variety of projects, including single-family residential and small scale commercial.

When she is not working with the studio, Anabelle spends her time creating three-dimensional items and spending time with her two Pit Bulls, Willa & Fiona.
