Growing up on Lake Pontchartrain’s Northshore, Madeline would often visit New Orleans with her family. Her mother, an interior designer, taught her the value of good design and detail at a young age. Inspiration from the city along with the influence from her mother drew her to pursue a career in architecture. While studying at Louisiana State University, Madeline focused on developing projects that connected strongly to storytelling and reacted to the human experience. During her time at LSU, she attended a study abroad program in Rome, Italy where she was able to study historic + modern architecture and design.

When she wasn’t in studio, she was travelling to other countries where she took in the sights and sounds of different ways of life. Madeline’s senior project, alongside two teammates, was a storm shelter that celebrated Louisiana’s history and lifestyle. Along with her architectural studios, she studied wood working and 3D modelling.

She dedicated her final year at LSU to finetuning her communication skills through the CxC program. Upon graduation, she was awarded as a Distinguished Communicator Medalist. Madeline earned her Bachelor of Architecture and Minor in Architecture History in May 2019. When she’s not working with the team at studioWTA, she can be found reading a book, scoping out coffee shops, or exploring the streets of New Orleans.
