Megan grew up as a Floridian but gives credit to both Mississippi and Chicago as the places that trained and taught her the art of architecture. She has worked on a wide range of project scales and programs and genuinely enjoys the nuances that are found in a variety of work. Megan finds enjoyment in collaboration with colleagues, clients and the team as a whole, to create a project that is not only appreciated and celebrated, but lasting.

After receiving her five-year degree in Architecture at the College of Architecture at Mississippi State, and practicing in Chicago for a number of years, Megan migrated to New Orleans in 2009, where she found herself renovating her own home, getting a graduate degree from Tulane University School of Architecture, and ending up in a hybrid position between practice and academia as Director of Career Development for Tulane School of Architecture. The bridge between the two allowed her to experience architecture as craft, practice, precision, and reality and the value in continually learning new an unexpected techniques and advances.

Before joining the firm, Megan partnered with her husband to form their own architecture practice where she attributes learning the most about the importance of client relationships needs of the individual user of a space. She continues to serve as adjunct faculty at the School of Architecture and is consistently surprised by the rising designers and their reach into the practice.

Outside of her work life, Megan can be found running (alone), cooking food for for picky children, and always listening to some kind of music.
